By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: U.S. President Joe Biden has since issued a statement condemning the shooting that occurred this afternoon at Donald Trump’s rally in Pennsylvania.

President Biden says that everybody must condemn the shooting at the rally.

Former U.S. President Donald Trump was rushed offstage this afternoon after gunfire erupted.

Trump was swiftly escorted off stage and taken away.

“The bottom line is, the Trump rally … should have been able to be conducted peacefully without any problem. But the idea that there’s political violence or violence in America like this is just unheard of, is just not appropriate,” Biden said, speaking from Delaware. “Everybody must condemn it. Everybody.”

He added “every agency in the federal government” is investigating the matter and providing him reports on the latest.

The FBI is at the scene of the shooting and will work jointly with secret service in this investigation.
