By Aaron Humes: David Castillo has beaten two other candidates to become standard bearer for the People’s United Party (PUP) in Corozal North.

Castillo got 954 votes against 352 for Ivan Valencia and 173 for Dr Einstein Bodden.

Castillo will now challenge United Democratic Party incumbent Hugo Patt in the general election.
