Minister Bernard shared his personal connection with the victims, Gustavo and Miss Lita, recalling a recent encounter at a gas station. He lamented their untimely passing and acknowledged their valuable contributions to the community. Gustavo, an educator with big dreams, and Miss Lita, a dedicated community worker, will be sorely missed.
On behalf of the entire OW East Executive, Minister Bernard expressed gratitude for the love and support both Gustavo and Miss Lita provided to their community. He offered prayers for the recovery of Jesus Chi and for the families to find strength during this difficult time.
The statement concluded with a message of hope and remembrance, as Minister Bernard wished for the souls of Gustavo and Miss Lita to find eternal peace.
