Belize City Council closes Alexandria St. in Southside until Wednesday, August 7

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: In a Street Notice, the Belize City Council said that they are closing Alexandria Street in the Southside will be closed to vehicular traffic and will be opened on Wednesday, August 7.

“This closure was to facilitate the rehabilitation of the manhole cover at the junction of Bagdad St. and Alexandria Street by the City Council,” said the Belize City Council in the Street Notice, while apologizing for the inconvenience.

To access Vernon Street, motorists will have to drive up Bagdad St all the way up Mosul Street and turn right.
