By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Potential Tropical Cyclone Four is forecast to become Tropical Storm by Saturday, according to the United States National Hurricane Center and the Weather Channel.
“Tropical storm conditions are expected Saturday night within the warning area in southwest Florida from East Cape Sable to Bonita Beach, where a tropical storm warning has been issued,” the US National Hurricane Center said in it 9:00 am advisory on Friday.
“Tropical storm conditions are possible in the Florida Keys on Saturday and along the Florida West Coast off Bonita Beach to Aripeka Saturday night and Sunday where a Tropical Storm Watch is in effect.”
The Hurricane Center also said coastal flooding is possible along sections of Florida’s West Coast of Florida over the weekend.
Heavy rainfall could cause flash and urban flooding across areas of Florida and the Southeast of the United States from the weekend until Wednesday.
