BREAKING: Woman stabbed and found roadside on George Price Highway

By Aaron Humes: Information has been received of a female being stabbed and left for dead near mile 15 on George Price Highway, Hattieville, Belize District.

At about 1:30 this afternoon, a grey SUV arrived at the Hattieville Police Station Compound. The male driver informed the police that he found a female, particulars unknown, near mile 15 police booth with what appeared to be stab wounds to the face and neck area, other injuries unknown at the time, on the roadside.

Police have transported the female to Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital.

An investigation is underway and police have identified certain persons of interest whom they are trying to locate.
