Ministry of Home Affairs hosts 25th Annual Belize Police Youth Cadet Corps Summer camp 2024

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: On August 4, 2024, the Ministry of Home Affairs and New Growth Industries hosted the 25th Annual Belize Police Youth Cadet Corps Summer camp 2024.

More than 180 cadets from across Belize ages 8 to 17 participated in the camp.

The cadets will attend a week-long youth camp that promises excitement, learning, and lasting memories.

Cadets will participate in sports and friendly competitions, exciting field trips and cultural nights, talent shows and Cadet king and queen pageant.

These activities will focus on developing confidence, teamwork, and a strong sense of community.

“By attending this camp, our cadets are taking the first steps toward becoming leaders who will make a major impact on the country.

We encourage our cadets to stay involved in these activities, learn as much as possible, progress, and, most importantly, have fun,” the Ministry noted.

The Ministry thanked all the officers, trainers, organizers, and especially the parents for making this event possible.
