UDP Leader Shyne Barrow files police report against Second Deputy Leader Beverly Williams

By Jose Luis Cruz: UDP Leader Shyne Barrow has filed a police report against his second deputy leader, Beverly Williams, following an alleged confrontation at a National Party Council Meeting over the weekend. Barrow accuses Williams of attacking and threatening him during the heated exchange.

According to Barrow’s report, Williams, seated near him at the meeting, called him “evil” and warned he would “mourn for your evil.” Barrow claims he responded to Williams saying that she was evil and she is “mourning for her evil.”

The exchange reportedly escalated, with Williams banging on the table before attempting to physically attack Barrow. According to Barrow, she allegedly threatened to have someone harm or kill him before being subdued by other party members. The party chairman suspended the meeting for safety reasons.

Williams admitted to News 5 Belize that she told him, “I will make somebody hurt you.” But, denies anything about sending “somebody to kill you.”

Williams says that her statement was a response to Barrow “mad-staring” her and the comments he reportedly made about her daughter.
