National Amateur Interdistrict Championship: Finalists to be decided on Saturday

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The finalists of the National Amateur Interdistrict Championship (NAIC)will be determined on Saturday, August, 10, when the second leg of the semifinals are played.

Sa Pedro Terror Squad FC, who won the first leg 2-1 in San Pedro, will tackle Legends FC at the Victor Sanchez Union Field in Punta Gorda on Saturday at 6:00 pm.

A little later at 7:30 pm, EZ Griga Conquerors will clashh with Mi Gente FC of Guinea Grass, Orange Walk, at the Carl Ramos Stadium in Dangriga. Their first game ended in a 2-2 stalemate in Orange Walk last Sunday.

Both series are tight affairs, but judging from what happened in the quarterfinals, where two of the four matches finished in blowouts, one can never tell.
