Ministry of Rural Transformation hands over PVC Pipes valued at over $33,000 to Independence Water Board

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: On August 8th, the Ministry of Rural Development through the Rural Transformation Department, handed over PVC pipes valued at over $33,000 to the Independence Water Board in the Stann Creek District.

This donation will play a crucial role in extending water supply lines to newly allocated lot plots, benefitting first-time landowners in the Independence area.

“This milestone was achieved through our invaluable partnership with UNICEF, whose collaboration has been instrumental in making projects like these a reality,” the Ministry noted.

“Together, we are making strides toward sustainable rural development, one community at a time,” the Ministry added.
