Premier Women’s League of Belize: Jewel Fury host Sagitun GIRLZ on Saturday in definitive final

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The first-ever Premier Women’s League of Belize Opening Championship will be decided on Saturday night when Jewel Fury host Sagitun GIRLZ at 7:00 pm the Isidoro Beaton Stadium in Belmopan.

The Finals are level after the 0-0 draw in the first leg last week at the Michael Ashcroft Stadium in Independence.

Sagitun GIRLZ qualified to the first ever PWLB Finals after a 2-1 aggregate win over Belmopan’s Napoles.

Jewel Fury advanced automatically after Caribbean Tire withdrew ahead of the semifinals.

“Yes hello? Fury gang speaking … It’s GAME DAY. See you all tonight where the best of the best meet for one big goal,” Jewel Fury said in a social media post on Saturday.

“90 minutes of excitement, 90 minutes of the best female football in Belize!” Sagitun GIRLZ said in a social media post ahead of the Final.

“90 minutes to decide who takes home this season’s biggest award! No second chance, all in for this one!”
