Dead body in Punta Gorda identified as construction worker Victor Bol

By Aaron Humes: 23-year-old Victor Bol, a construction worker of Punta Gorda Town, has been identified as the dead body found floating in the Caribbean Sea on Saturday afternoon.

Bol was working in Santa Cruz, Stann Creek District and according to his common-law wife he called her to meet at the Central Park on Friday night. But when she arrived, she told reporters, he was apparently drinking and told her to go back home instead; it was the last time she saw him.

Bol’s body was not found with any sign of injury and a post-mortem examination has been scheduled.
