By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Premier League of Belize champions Port Layola arrived safely in El Salvador on Monday evening for Wednesday’s CONCACAF Central American Cup game against Aguila of San Miguel.
Port Layola left Belize on Sunday and traveled by road to the neighboring Central American country.
Port’s third match is slated for 4:00 pm on Wednesday at Esatadio Las Delicias in Santa Tecla.

So far, the regional competition hasn’t been easy for Port Layola, who have fallen twice, 4-1 to Guatemala’s Antigua GFC and 6-1 to Honduras’ Olimpia.
Port find themsleves in last place in the Group C without a point, having scored two goals but allowed ten. Olimpia lead with six points. Antigua follow with four. Águila have one point from one game and CA Independiente don’t have any, but have only played one game.
After the Águila match, Port will have one more game, next week against CA Independiente of Panama in Panama City.
