Dr. Osmond Martinez sworn in as Area Representative for Toledo East

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Today, Dr. Osmond Martinez was officially sworn in as Area Representative for Toledo East.

Dr. Martinez has been given the post of Minister of State for Foreign Trade. 

The substantive Minister of Foreign Trade is Francis Fonseca.

Dr. Martinez served as Chief Executive Officer in the Ministry of Economic Development from May 2021 to June of this year when he resigned to pursue his political career.

Dr. Martinez holds a Doctorate degree in Economics with a focus in poverty and social development.
