Cayo man charged for attempt to molest eight-year-old boy

By Aaron Humes: Police say they have arrested and charged one person for attempted sexual assault.

According to a report made on Tuesday, August 13, on different days in the month of August 2024, an eight-year-old male minor was left at home with a family friend who attempted to put the minor hand into his pants. The minor informed his mother.

Following up on this report, police formally arrested and charged a 49-year-old man from Cayo District for the crimes of Attempted Sexual Assault and engaging in sexual activity in the presence of a minor.
