By Horace Palacio: Belizeans can look forward to another pleasant day of sunshine with some cloudy periods today, according to the National Meteorological Service. Isolated showers or thunderstorms are possible, particularly in the southern regions, but overall, conditions are expected to remain calm and enjoyable.
Coastal areas will experience highs around 90°F (32°C) while inland areas will be slightly warmer, reaching up to 95°F (35°C). The hills will enjoy a comfortable range of temperatures, with highs near 82°F (28°C).
Marine conditions are favorable, with light winds from the east-northeast and slight seas. This makes it a great day for boating or enjoying the beaches.
Meanwhile, Hurricane Ernesto continues to churn in the Atlantic, located about 605 miles south-southwest of Bermuda. Although it poses no immediate threat to Belize, the Meteorological Service is closely monitoring its progress and advises residents to stay updated on any changes.
Looking ahead, similar weather conditions are expected for Friday and Friday night.
