By Horace Palacio: Belize’s Institute of Archaeology (IA) announced this morning the resumption of all water-related tour activities at the Actun Tunichil Muknal (ATM) Cave and the Nohoch Che’en Archaeological Reserve following a recent drop in river levels.
Tour guides operating in these areas have been advised to exercise caution and remain alert to changing conditions. All other archaeological reserves and cave sites remain open to the public.
The IA will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as necessary.
