Margaritaville Beach Resort in Belize celebrates inaugural Jimmy Buffett day of service

This annual event, launched by Margaritaville International, honors the legacy of its founder, Jimmy Buffett, by dedicating August 30th to community and environmental service.

The Belize property will mark this initiative on Friday, August 30th, with a dedicated beach cleanup effort. Properties across the globe are contributing with their own initiatives on this same day.

The cleanup will encompass a two-mile stretch of coastline, one mile north and one mile south of the resort on Ambergris Caye. This endeavor is a collaboration with the San Pedro Town Council and Oceana, underscoring the resort’s commitment to safeguarding the natural beauty of Belize’s coastline.

Adding her support to the effort, Destiny Wagner, Miss Earth Belize 2021, will join the cleanup. Her presence will help to emphasize the significance of environmental conservation and encourage community involvement.
