Robost online teaching tool Access501 launched by Ministry of Education

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: On August 29, 2024, the Ministry of Education Culture, Science and Technology (MoECST) launched a robust online teaching tool called Access501.

This new online portal and learning hub provides extensive multi-media resources for continuously exploring Belize’s culture, history and natural environment.

For the first time ever, Belizeans will be able to read and study digitized versions of books, newspaper archives, magazines, and other materials that they most likely have never seen before and explore the ideas of iconic nation-builders from all walks of life who have helped to shape Belize’s cultural identity.

Several of the Ministry’s recent initiatives, such as the Museum of Belizean Art and the Belize Music Project, will be only a click away through Access501.

This portal will become a continuously growing library of information and content.
