Minister of Education and Belize National Teachers Union President discuss key issues

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Today, Francis Fonseca, Minister of Education, along with Dian Maheia, CEO in the Ministry of Education, Culture, Science, and Technology, and Yolanda Gongora, Chief Education Officer, engaged in a productive meeting with Nadia Caliz, National President of the Belize National Teachers’ Union (BNTU), and her team.

These ongoing discussions are a testament to the Ministry’s commitment to collaborating with the BNTU to tackle pressing issues in the education sector.

Through these regular meetings, the Ministry and the Union continue to work together to resolve issues which benefit teachers, and, in turn, students and the wider education community.
