By Horace Palacio: Namibia is strengthening its global ties by establishing diplomatic relations with seven new nations, including Belize. This was announced by Namibia’s Minister of Information, Communication, and Technology, Emma Theofelus, following their 15th Cabinet meeting of 2024.
Theofelus stated that the Namibian Cabinet has instructed the Ministry of International Relations and Cooperation to promote economic and political cooperation with Belize, as well as with six other countries: Bahrain, Tajikistan, San Marino, Andorra, St. Kitts and Nevis, and Nepal.
These new diplomatic relations are being established in accordance with the United Nations Charter and the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations.
