BREAKING: Double murder in Corozal as mother and daughter shot to death

By Aaron Humes: In the last half hour, Breaking Belize News has confirmed that the victims of this morning’s shooting in Corozal Town are a mother and daughter, and both are now dead.

The scene is Second Street North near a car wash business. The mother died first and the daughter, initially reported as critical, passed soon thereafter. 

The shooter is reported to be known to both women and to have recently been released from prison, but other details of the incident are not known at this time.

Police investigations are ongoing.
