UPDATE: Shooting took place during robbery; casualty to be flown to Belize City for treatment

By Aaron Humes: Additional information coming from San Pedro Town is that the owner of the Coleman Barbershop in the San Juan Area was robbed by multiple persons and shot in his leg. Police are at the scene and the victim will be flown to Belize City for medical treatment; his exact condition is not known at this time.

By Aaron Humes: Information has been received of shots fired tonight on Ambergris Caye.

Preliminary information is that one person was shot in the area of San Juan in San Pedro Town. He was rushed to the San Pedro Town Polyclinic.

A police investigation is underway and additional details will be provided as they become available.
