Edwin David Marin wanted for double murder in Corozal District

Posted: Tuesday, September 10, 2024. 5:27 am CST.

By Horace Palacio: Police across the Corozal District are intensifying their search for Edwin David Marin, the man suspected of killing Natasha Clarke and Deysha Hill in a shocking double homicide that occurred just before 11 a.m. on Monday, September 9, 2024.

According to reports from police, Marin became embroiled in a heated dispute with Clarke and Hill. It is believed that Hill, who has a child with Marin, was the primary target of the altercation. The argument escalated quickly, and Marin allegedly opened fire, ending the lives of both women. He then fled the scene on Second Street North to an unknown location.

This is not the first time Marin has been involved in violent crime. Authorities confirmed that he had previously been charged in a similar incident five years ago, though details about his release from prison remain unclear. The community is now on high alert as police work around the clock to track down the suspect.

The public is urged not to approach Marin, as he is considered dangerous. If you have any information regarding his whereabouts, please contact the nearest police station or Crime Stoppers Belize at 922. Tips can also be submitted anonymously via the P3 Tips App.
