In an initiative aimed at promoting sustainable practices and improving the livelihoods of local fishermen, the Ministry of Public Utilities, Energy, Logistics & E-governance is proud to announce the distribution of solar kits to fishermen in Stann Creek. This initiative is set to transform the way fishing communities operate, providing them with reliable, eco-friendly energy solutions.

The solar kits, which include high-efficiency solar panels, batteries, and energy-efficient lighting, will enable fishermen to power essential equipment and enhance their operations with minimal environmental impact. The distribution of 100 solar kits occurred earlier today in Dangriga Town. Training and support have been provided to ensure that all recipients are equipped to make the most of their new solar technology.
