Lady cop allegedly shoots at her police boyfriend with his own police issued weapon

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Police are investigating a shooting incident that occurred last night in Belize City.

Police constable Kendal Nunez,23, told police that around 10:30 last night, he arrived home and saw his common law police constable Janeau Arzu socializing with her family.

Nunez says he went into the room, placed his 9mm firearm on a shelf and went to bed.

Shortly after, Arzu entered the room, got his firearm and pointed it at him accusing him of having an affair.

Nunez says that he ran out of the house and she fired a shot at him that went through a door.

Arzu then reportedly threatened to shoot him again.

Authorities recovered 1 expended shell at the scene along with his firearm.

Arzu is now in police custody.
