Westline FC win National U15 Interdistrict Championship over Progresso 3-2

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Westline FC defeated Progresso FC 3-2 to claim the The National Youth Club U15 Boys Football Championship at the FFB Stadium in Belmopan on Saturday, September 14.

Westline FC’s goal scorers were Marquis Bahadur (10’), Nathan Guzman (26’), and One Young (70’+1), who each contributed to the team’s success. Despite a strong effort from Progresso U15, who managed to tie the score 2-2 by halftime with goals from Jaylen Hall (8’) and Elon Castillo (35’), Westline FC ultimately secured the win.

Cayo’s Westline reached the Final after winning their semifinal matches against Toledo’s Tribal on a 7-2 aggregate score. Progresso FC advanced to the final edging Medina’s 4-2 in the penalty shootout after a 2-2 aggregate score.
