Customer service agent out on bail following theft allegation

By Breaking Belize News Staff: A 25-year-old Belmopan resident and Customer Service Agent for Transparent BPO, Jassiem Darwin Bush, has been released on bail after being charged with theft. Bush, who currently resides on Racoon Street Extension in Belize City, appeared unrepresented before Magistrate Court #2 in Belize City on Wednesday, where he pleaded not guilty to the charge.

Bush is accused of stealing an Asus laptop, $300 worth of clothing, an Atlantic Bank card, and a Social Security card from Jaheem Garcia on September 11, 2024, on West Street.

The court granted Bush bail in the sum of $1,000 with conditions, including a no-contact order with the complainant and staying at least 100 yards away from him. Bush is also prohibited from committing any similar offenses while on bail. His next court date is set for November 15, 2024.
