UDP says Tracy and co organizing ‘fraudulent’ event (convention); Tracy says ‘Shyne’ is ‘unhinged’

By Breaking Belize News Staff: Recently, the UDP issued a release saying that Tracy Panton and the members of the Alliance for Democracy are organizing an “October 20th, 2024 event fraudulently dubbed “National Convention of the UDP”.”

The UDP reiterated that all four individuals, Saldivar, Faber, Panton and Williams have been expelled from the UDP.

“They therefore hold no position within the UDP and are therefore not authorized to conduct any event under the auspices of the UDP,” the UDP added.

UDP Leader Shyne Barrow also said in an interview that former party chairman Patrick Faber created “constructive resignation,” and that all that is happening now is karma.

Today, Panton said on social media that “the man in unhinged, dangerous for Belize and some may agree not well.”

The UDP also said that “any decisions derived from this event are without substance with absolutely no legal bearing on the UDP and will therefore not be recognized by the UDP.”
