By Breaking Belize News Staff: A 36-year-old farmer from Lemonal Village, Wilhelm Bull, has been granted bail after being charged with threatening to kill his father, 72-year-old Denfield Henry Bull.
Bull appeared unrepresented in Court #6 before a Senior Magistrate, where he was read a single charge of threat of death. The incident occurred on Friday, September 27, 2024, when Bull allegedly approached his father’s home under the influence of alcohol and threatened him, saying, “You wah I kill yuh.”
Bull initially denied any familial relation to the victim, but it was revealed that the victim is his own father. The court granted him bail at $800 with conditions, including that he must not interfere with his father or any other witnesses and stay at least 100 yards away from him.
The next court date is set for November 4, 2024, when Bull is expected to receive disclosure of evidence.
