Leaked document reveals shocking land sales in Belmopan under previous council’s administration

By Breaking Belize News Staff: A leaked document obtained from Hot off the Press revealed shocking land sale deals in Belmopan purportedly under the leadership of Mayor Sheran Palacio.

The document showed that several lots in Belmopan valued at over $19,000 were sold in some instances for $500, $1000 and $2,000.

In addition, some of the names on the list include 1 former Belmopan City Councilor, the former Mayor’s relatives.

Palacio’s leadership of the Belmopan city council was marred by infighting and division throughout her term.
