Officer Nicky Waight identified as victim in fatal San Ignacio motorcycle crash

By Horace Palacio: Authorities have identified the police officer killed in a late-night motorcycle crash at the entrance of the San Ignacio Board Bridge as Nicky Waight. The tragic accident, which occurred late Sunday night claimed Officer Waight’s life on the scene.

Another individual involved in the collision sustained serious injuries and was rushed to the San Ignacio Hospital for urgent medical attention. Their condition remains critical.

Police have launched an investigation into the incident, focusing on potential contributing factors such as speed and road conditions. The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are working to gather more details about the events leading up to the crash.
