Robbery case dropped after complainant requests no further action

By Aaron Humes: The four women being sought by police with regard to a robbery investigation have been apprehended, but will not face charges.

Police had named the suspects as Shelby Medina, Vilma Camara, Damaris Camara, Kathia Sandoval and Mariela Mejia. They had been accused of breaking into an apartment in Belize City at the weekend.

As of Thursday morning the group had been apprehended. However, the virtual complainant revisited the police station and requested no further court action into the matter.
