Belize to see sunny skies with isolated showers, no tropical cyclone activity expected

By Horace Palacio: Visitors and locals in Belize can look forward to another day of sunshine and pleasant weather, according to the latest forecast from the National Meteorological Service. While a few light showers or periods of rain may develop offshore and along parts of the coast, most areas will remain dry with sunny skies and occasional cloudy intervals.

This favorable weather is due to a light and somewhat dry northerly airflow influencing the region. Temperatures are expected to be warm, reaching a high of 87°F (31°C) along the coast and climbing to 91°F (33°C) inland. Those venturing into the hills can expect slightly cooler temperatures with a high of 77°F (25°C).

Sea conditions are expected to be calm, with light chop and wave heights between 2-4 feet, making it an ideal day for enjoying Belize’s beautiful coastline and marine activities.

The tropical weather outlook remains calm, with no tropical cyclone formation anticipated in the North Atlantic, Caribbean Sea, or Gulf of Mexico over the next 48 hours.

Looking ahead, Friday and Friday night may bring some cloudy spells with a chance of a few coastal showers and isolated thunderstorms in inland areas during the afternoon.
