Police officer arraigned for choking sometime girlfriend in drain water

By Aaron Humes: Police officer Andres Choc is accused of being on the other side of the law by putting hands on a female acquaintance.

Choc is charged with harm to the female by allegedly choking her and pushing her head into a drain, making her swallow the fetid water. She claims she was trying to calm him down during an argument with a couple with whom they were socializing.

In court Choc claimed the victim is not his girlfriend and only visits his house from time to time.

As part of his bail conditions Choc is ordered to keep his distance from the accuser and her family, attend all court appearances and avoid being charged with any similar offense. Bail was set at $1,000 and a surety. Choc reportedly remains on active duty.
