San Felipe fatal accident: Motorcyclist on his way to party crashed trying to avoid pedestrian

By Aaron Humes: Two more men lost their lives over the weekend while riding motorcycles on the highways and by-ways.

According to police, the death of Elias Cowo on the San Antonio Road was caused when, while driving his motorcycle, he lost control and fell to the street causing fatal injuries.

Family members say he had just bought the motorcycle in October and around 10 p.m. Saturday left for a party in August Pine Ridge but he never made it.

Reports from the scene say a person wandered onto the road, apparently drunk, and Cowo swerved to avoid him and lost control. The second man luckily only got minor injuries. However, Elias Cowo may not have been wearing a helmet and might have been drinking too.

Investigations continue.
