Caye Caulker woman reports being molested in bedroom

By Aaron Humes: A Caye Caulker man has been detained after a report of sexual assault.

On Monday, a 23-year-old female resident of Caye Caulker Village visited the Caye Caulker Police station and reported that on the same day around midnight, she was at home in her bed sleeping, when a male person came inside her room and molested her. The complainant then got up and turned on the lights in her room and that is when she saw a male person she recognized who lives in the same house in another room; he was standing inside her room completely nude. He left moments later and went to his room. 

Police investigations continue.
