By Horace Palacio: Belizeans can look forward to mostly sunny weather across the country today, with only a slight chance of isolated showers or thunderstorms, primarily along the coast. According to the Belize Meteorological Service, fair weather will dominate, bringing pleasant conditions for most outdoor activities.
Today’s forecast indicates easterly to northeasterly winds at 5 to 15 knots, contributing to choppy seas with wave heights between 3 to 5 feet. Coastal temperatures are expected to reach a high of 88°F (31°C) and drop to around 77°F (25°C) at night. Inland regions will be warmer, with highs of up to 92°F (33°C) and nighttime lows of 72°F (22°C). In the hills, temperatures are expected to range from a daytime high of 77°F (25°C) to a cooler 66°F (19°C) during the night.
Marine conditions remain choppy, and small craft operators are advised to exercise caution due to moderate wave activity. The forecast for Wednesday suggests a continuation of fair weather, with only isolated showers or thunderstorms anticipated.
