By Horace Palacio: Belizeans can look forward to another day of fair and mostly dry weather conditions, as the Belize Meteorological Service reports stable atmospheric conditions across the country. Today’s forecast calls for mostly sunny skies during the day, with temperatures expected to reach highs of 89°F (32°C) along the coast, 92°F (33°C) inland, and 82°F (28°C) in the hills. Overnight temperatures will cool to 76°F (24°C) on the coast, 70°F (21°C) inland, and 66°F (19°C) in the hills.
Rainfall will be minimal, with only isolated showers anticipated, providing favorable conditions for outdoor activities. This trend of fair weather is expected to continue into Thursday, with similar dry and stable conditions forecasted for both the day and night.
For those planning marine activities, conditions are expected to remain calm. Winds will be light and variable, and seas will experience a light chop with wave heights between 2 to 4 feet. This provides safe conditions for small craft operations, swimming, and fishing.
Today, the low tide will occur at 7:32 a.m., followed by a high tide at 1:59 p.m. Another low tide is expected at 6:13 p.m., with a high tide occurring tomorrow at 12:29 a.m. Sunrise was at 5:53 a.m., and sunset will be at 5:18 p.m., while moonrise and moonset will occur at 10:26 a.m. and 9:35 p.m., respectively.
Residents and visitors are encouraged to take advantage of the dry conditions for outdoor activities but remain cautious of any sudden, isolated showers.
