Under-16 Belize Girls lose 3-0 to El Salvador in UNCAF FIFA FORWARD Under-16 Girls Championship

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Under-16 Belize Girls National Team (BGNT) fell 3-0 to El Salvador in their second match of the 2024 Central American Football Union (UNCAF) FIFA FORWARD Under-16 Girls Championship being held in Managua, Nicaragua.

Belize conceded a goal in the first half and two more in the latter part of the second half to drop their second game.

On Wednesday, the BGNT fell 2-1 in the opener to Nicaragua who were today demolished 6-1 by Panama.

Panama now lead Group A with six points

In Group B on Friday, Costa Rica flogged invited guests Cuba 8-0 while Guatemala tied 0-0 with Honduras.

Belize’s final Group A match will be against Panama on Sunday, November 10, at 8:00 pm.

Belize Group Stage Schedule:

• Wednesday, November 6, 2024: Nicaragua 2-1 Belize at 5:30 pm
• Friday, November 8, 2024: Belize 0-3 El Salvador at 8:00 pm
• Sunday, November 10, 2024: Panama vs. Belize at 8:00 pm
