Sunny skies and warm temperatures dominate Belize forecast

By Horace Palacio: Belizeans can look forward to another day of pleasant weather across the country. The National Meteorological Service forecasts generally fair conditions with sunny skies and a few cloudy spells throughout the day. While showers or thunderstorms are expected to be isolated, residents in inland areas and the Maya Mountains may experience slightly more activity this afternoon.

Temperatures will remain warm, reaching a high of 88°F (31°C) along the coast and 93°F (34°C) inland. Those in the hills can expect a more comfortable high of 79°F (26°C). Marine conditions are calm, with light and variable winds and slight seas.

Meanwhile, Tropical Storm Rafael, located hundreds of miles north-northwest of Belize, poses no threat to the country. The storm is currently moving slowly north-northwest and is expected to continue on this path.

The National Meteorological Service anticipates similar weather conditions to persist into Monday and Monday night.
