Farm caretaker robbed near Cristo Rey, Cayo

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Police are investigating reports of a robbery just before 10pm on Saturday night on Mile 5 Cristo Rey Road.

Farm caretaker Manuel Isaquirre told police that he arrived at the entrance to the farm and when he was unlocking the gate, he was attacked.

Isaquirre says that the culprit began choking him and another thief pointed a gun at him.

The thieves stole his gold chain, his wallet, phone and motorcycle.

All items to a total value of $8325.

Investigations continue.
