Ministry of Infrastructure Development & Housing completes rehabilitation of Hawkesworth Bridge

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Today, the Ministry of Infrastructure Development & Housing (MIDH) informed of the completion of periodic and rehabilitation works on the Hawkesworth Bridge in San Ignacio and Santa Elena.

The bridge is scheduled to re-open to the public on Wednesday, 13 November 2024, after the MIDH, Supervision team, and Contractor have completed their final walk-through inspection.

MIDH urges motorists to be vigilant and exercise caution while driving.

Please follow traffic safety warnings and laws. 

The MIDH encourages all to be proud of their transport infrastructure: do not litter, do not deface, be considerate to other users and have civic pride.
