By Aaron Humes: The Ministry of Education, Culture, Science, and Technology has announced a nationwide suspension of classes at all levels for tomorrow, Monday, November 18, due to adverse weather conditions caused by Tropical Storm Sara.
A statement from the Ministry issued a short while ago states, “The public and bank holiday on Tuesday, November 19, will provide an opportunity to assess the conditions after the storm. The Ministry encourages the education community to prioritize their health and safety and to follow official advisories from the National Emergency Management Organization (NEMO) and the National Meteorological Service of Belize.”
