“Monday Lottery Draw” as postponed Sunday Draw takes place before Boledo

By Aaron Humes: Belize Government Lotteries Limited hereby informs the public that the Ordinary & Jackpot Lottery drawing originally scheduled for today, Sunday, November 17 has been rescheduled to take place on Monday night, November 18 at 8:30 p.m., immediately prior to the usual Boledo Lottery drawing at 9:10 p.m.

A statement says, “The safety and well-being of all personnel involved in the drawing; including BGLL staff, personnel from the Treasury Department, auditing firm, and media houses, is our top priority. We take this opportunity to thank everyone for their understanding and invite you to tune in tomorrow for the live drawings to take place from the Downtown Plaza in Belize City.”

This is the first time in history perhaps that a Sunday Lottery Draw has taken place outside of its usual 10 a.m. time slot when not outright canceled as it was in 2022 following Hurricane Lisa, or absent following the end of the Brads franchise.

Tickets bought up to 9:50 a.m. Sunday will be valid for the Draw.
