Belizean Actor and TikTok star Wani Arzu honored at Belize Liberator Film Festival

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Recently, Belizean actor Wani Arzu was recognized for his contributions to the arts at the Belize Liberator Film Festival in Sittee River, Stann Creek.

Known for his viral social media skits, Arzu has also appeared in films, including one on Netflix.

Arzu’s TikTok presence has also amassed huge following due to his skits.

In his acceptance speech, Arzu expressed his gratitude, stating, “Thank you Mr. Michael Flores & The Belize Liberator Film Festival for acknowledging all the blood, sweat, and tears I put into my craft. Special thanks to all my supporters across all my social media platforms. You guys give me the confidence to keep on going.”

“My mom couldn’t make it due to medical reasons, but she was still cheering me on from home. I made a promise to her that I’m going to win more awards & she’s going to be right there to witness it. To my brother @jeremychristoph congratulations on your award as well bro it was deserved. We’re going to make history with this upcoming project. Special thanks to all my supporters across all my social media platforms. You guys give me the confidence to keep on going. I promise you guys I’m going to bring home an Oscar for Belize,” Arzu added.

Arzu thanked all supporters for motivating him to continue.
