Belize Forecast: Mostly sunny with isolated showers

By Horace Palacio: Residents and visitors in Belize can expect another day of pleasant weather with mostly sunny skies and warm temperatures. The National Meteorological Service of Belize has forecast generally fair conditions across the country.

While isolated showers are possible, most areas will remain dry. Temperatures along the coast are expected to reach a high of 82°F (28°C), with slightly cooler conditions inland and in the hills. Overnight lows will range from the mid-60s to the mid-70s Fahrenheit.

Seas will be calm with light chop and waves of 2-4 feet, making for favorable conditions for boating and water activities.

The forecast for Monday is similarly fair, with only isolated showers expected, mainly in southern coastal areas.

There are no tropical threats to Belize at this time, with no cyclone formation expected in the North Atlantic, Caribbean Sea, or Gulf of Mexico over the next 48 hours.
