Sunny skies and fair conditions dominate Belize forecast

By Horace Palacio: Belizeans can expect another day of beautiful weather as a northerly airflow maintains fair and mostly dry conditions across the country. The National Meteorological Service forecasts sunny skies with a few cloudy spells throughout the day. Temperatures will be warm, reaching a high of 85°F (29°C) along the coast, 89°F (32°C) inland, and a comfortable 77°F (25°C) in the hills. Overnight, skies will remain mostly clear with minimal rainfall expected.

Marine conditions are also favorable, with light chop and waves reaching only 2-4 feet. Winds will be out of the north to northeast at 5-15 knots, making for pleasant boating conditions.

The good weather is set to continue into the weekend, with Saturday and Saturday night expected to bring similar conditions.

In the tropics, the outlook remains quiet. The National Meteorological Service reports no tropical cyclone formation is expected in the North Atlantic, Caribbean Sea, or Gulf of Mexico over the next 48 hours.
