Belize Weather: Dry start to weekend but showers pick up on Sunday

By Breaking Belize News Staff: Mostly dry weather prevails according to the National Meteorological Service. Skies today will be mostly sunny and tonight clear to partly cloudy, with only isolated showers if any.

High temperatures will be 85 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 88 degrees in inland areas and 77 degrees in the hills. Tonight, low temperatures will be 75 degrees along the coast, 65 degrees inland and 61 degrees in the hills.

Winds are northerly at 10 to 15 knots and sea state light chop.

Tides will be high at 9:59 this morning and 8:56 this evening and low at 2:58 this afternoon. The sun rose at 6:06 this morning and will set at 5:16 this evening.

For Sunday, skies will be cloudy at times with isolated showers or thunderstorms. An increase in shower activity, mainly along the coast Sunday afternoon and mostly over the south Sunday night, is predicted.
