Marvin ‘Manly’ Mundo defends Belize Lightweight MMA Championship against contender Amiel Topsey Saturday night in Belmopan

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Marvin ‘Manly’ Mundo is set to defend his Belize Lightweight Division (155 lbs) Amateur Championship against contender Amiel Topsey in the main event of the Prophecy Fighting Championship (PRO FC 14) Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fight card tonight, Saturday, November 30, at the UB Gymnasium in Belmopan. Mundo hails from Spanish Lookout, while Topsey is from San Ignacio.

Saturday night we find out if Topsey can dethrone Mundo or if Mundo will maintain his reign of dominance.

The co-main event, dubbed the ‘Clash of the Undefeated,’ will see Belizean Frank ‘Mac’ Vasquez from Placencia facing Panamanian Yovanis Decroz in the 145 lbs Featherweight Division. ProFC CEO Silvino Riverol told Breaking Belize News this is a professional MMA fight, and both fighters remain undefeated.

The fight card features a total nine MMA fights and two No-Gi Jiu-Jitsu matches, according to Riverol.

For those who cannot attend in person, the fight card will be broadcasted on Centaur Cable Network and available on the XPRESS+ app.
